I HAD SEEN the look that went from Mitch to Draco and I immediately knew that they had pushed the topic till when they were alone, and I wasn't having any of that.

I waited until my children had eaten to their fill and then I led them away from the table. There were still a few minutes of sunshine left before dusk, they could use that time to play and let their food digest properly before bed.

I knew Mitch and Draco were going to have the meeting now. It was an important issue that needed immediate addressing.

I kept my eyes on Aiden and Addison as they played in the field behind the palace. After a few minutes, I called them back and led them up to their rooms where they would wash up and tuck into bed.

"I think I would get lost living in this big place," Addison said as they entered their room after washing up and changing into their pajamas. "What do you think, Aiden?" He climbed into her bed.
