CHAPTER 24

ANNA

IT HAS BEEN almost a week since I spoke to Mitch about the spreading illness but I haven't heard any word or update concerning it. My mind was restless, I wanted to be doing something other than lie in bed and secretly enjoy Mitch's body warmth every night, and during the day, pick my children after school and play with them while trying to take my new Luna duties seriously.

I wanted to do more, but now, there was no information for me to work with. I could not even start any research.

Today was a good time as any to go and check out the large private school in the city and maybe register my children for admission there. I wanted them to have a strong normal life away from the pack.

I got into my car, which was a brand new Porsche GT5, by the way. A new gift from Mitch. The man was even richer than I knew.
