MITCH CHESTER

AFTER THE CALL to Anna, Mitch dropped his new phone on the table and went downstairs to the kitchen.

"Coffee, your Highness?" One of the cooks asked.

He nodded and sat down. While he waited, he browsed through the newspaper on the table and listened as the children were being prepared for school by their nanny and his mother.

This was a bad time to send the children out to the human community for 5 hours. Not now when there is a potentially deadly and angry vampire on the loose, and when their father is also getting interested in them.

"Here you go," The lady placed the cup and tray on the table and bowed. "Breakfast will be out in 5 minutes."

"Thank you, Penny," he swirled the black coffee and took a small sip. He opened his laptop and checked through his email.

The door opened and Draco came in. "I didn't expect you to be so up early... given the activity you did yesterday."

"Activity," Mitch scoffed sarcastically. "Do you, wolves, get exhausted after a run?"
