Chapter Twelve

Miracle's POV

As I clicked the "send" button on my bank's website, a wave of excitement washed over me. I couldn't wait for my Aunt Suzanne to receive the fifty thousand dollars I sent her way.

Aunt Suzanne has always been there for me, ever since I was a baby, and it felt so good to be able to give back to her in some small way. I knew that the money would help her out in a big way, and I couldn't wait to hear her reaction when she received it.

Things had been tough for her, especially after Uncle Abraham lost his hearing. But through it all, she took care of me as if I were her daughter. So when I received such a large sum of money, it felt like a dream come true.

My thoughts were interrupted by the ringing of my phone.
