Charlie POV.

“There has to be a good reason why she would kill those fae scouts? You saw what happened. This is not Rosa. You know she would never hurt a damn fly. This doesn’t make any sense.” I say to Gaia, Fenrir, Odessa, Dragus, and Asteria.

“Well, she did! You saw what she became. So tell me, Charlie, you have been with her all this while. Has she ever done this before?” Gaia asks, and I scoff. She can’t be fucking serious.

“No, she hasn’t. She has had nightmares and always ends up in my bed to keep her grounded. She has never shown this side of her. Well, apart from the day I found her. But it was Cece and Jadara, not her. Gaia, you know her as well, if not more than I do. You know she isn’t capable of doing this. Not without reason.” I say to her and she shakes her head.

“So you’re telling me even during all her supposed training she has never done this before? You expect me to believe that when I have fifteen dead fae scouts at the borders.” She hits the desk and I look at her

I can't believe what Gaia and the counsel did to Rosa by locking her up without believing her or trying to understand what was going on. I was happy that Charlie was fighting for her, but now it seems like it maybe too late. I hope Jadara doesn't let her Siren side take over. What a mess.
