Chapter 12: Misunderstanding

Dylan's POV

While I talked to the front desk, Bernie stood behind me staring at the phone non-stop. I occasionally turn to look at him, but he doesn't seem to care about the eyes around him. Not only the front desk, even other customers, every time they pass by, get a glimpse of Bernie.

Bernie's looks are undeniable, even if I hate Bernie, I still find him extremely handsome. But that's not why everyone is so focused on Bernie. I'm really jealous!

But then, when I turned around and handed Bernie the room key, I found out that he was staring at me from time to time. I was a little startled, but I still managed to keep a calm expression on my face. I was about to drag two suitcases to the elevator but Bernie stopped me.

"Let me!" Bernie said faintly: "Anyway, it's my luggage, don't let you work so hard!"

What else can I say? I nodded at Bernie, then pushed open the elevator, “Shall we go to the construction site now?”
