Mary paused at the door, her beating severely to the point that it almost became painful.

She did not know if to concentrate on the deep blue eyes that was now piercing through her with it’s gaze, holding her hostage that she could not even look away, or if she should concentrate on her heart which seemed to plan to rebel against her entire body. It seemed to be working independently, on it’s own accord. Neither did she know if she should concentrate on her fears, her fears that seemed to be growing with every passing second.

There he was, the supposed dangerous murderer, dangerous but ruthlessly handsome as well. His beautiful looks made her find it difficult to connect him to the supposed murder.

With the way he stared at her, the first thought that registered in her head was to turn around and run away, far away from him and back home into her mother’s arms where she would be save from any danger. But she could not move, his eyes seemed to have glued her to the spot she stood
