Chapter 2

"Ang bilis mo namang pumayag," Harriet mockingly said.

I sighed. I know, iyon nga ang siyang laman ng utak ko ngayon. Tangina, feeling ko ang laki laki ng problema ko.

I rolled my eyes. "I don't have any choice. Kaysa naman maalis ako sa Atlas."

Humalakhak ang mga pinsan ko sa hapag. Nandito na kami kanina pa ni Harriet, magka harapan kaming naka upo sa bakanteng mga silya.

I kept hardening my jaw and clenching my fists when I sensed my cousins coming inside the Dining. Naagaw lamang ang atensyon ko nang kasama nilang lalaki na dahilan ng mga problema ko ngayon. Sa halip na iwasan ang mapang asar na tingin niya, hindi ko inalis ang madiin na titig ko sa kanya.

He dragged the chair so he could sit beside Wright. All of my cousins are now sneering, weighing my expression.

"Hi, baby-" paunang bati niya.

"Fuck you," I blurted out, cutting him off.

He smirked. "After our marriage babe, 'wag excited."

Nalaglag ang panga ko. My cousins bursts out laughing at us, natahimik lamang nang sawayin sila ni Kenzie. Oh, thanks to our Brother.

"Don't push her on her limit, Vraxx."

"It's fine Kenzie. I can handle her." Ngumisi nang nakakaloko si Vraxx.

Sarkastiko akong natawa. "Seriously? What do you need Caldwell? Position in our Organization?"

Iyon ang siyang nasa isip ko kanina pa. Hindi ko lubusang maisip kung papaano siya mapapapayag nila Mommy sa pagpapakasal sa akin. Marriage is not a joke. Buhay ang pag uusapan dito, habang buhay na pag iisang dibdib at pagsasama. Kaya sa tingin ko talaga, may koneksyon iyon sa Organisasyon. Hindi 'yan basta basta mag papatali, lalo na't sa itsura niya, para siyang maraming babae.

"That's against the rules, Xiania. The Commander would be against it either, kung dahil lamang iyon sa posisyon," Diveghn commented in a serious voice.

Kumunot ang noo ko, mas lalong naguluhan at nainis. "If that's the case then, what are you up to? Money?"

Napangiwi si Vraxx. "I have plenty of it, gusto mo ba?"

"I am rich, can't you see?" I scoffed.

"So, am I."

"Stop bickering you two!" Wright irritatingly hissed.

"I was just asking him!"

"Then talk to him! 'Yong maayos naman, walang mararating 'to kung pareho kayong parang aso't puso d'yan..."

I exhaled. "I'll talk to my parents first, hindi pa rin pinal ang desisyon ko," I said before I walked towards my parents' room.

This is frustrating the hell out of me! I still don't get it why would I have to marry a man, just because I am already in my right age? Hindi ba pwede na tumanda akong dalaga? Mabubuhay pa din naman ako!

I knocked consecutively first on my parents' room door, before I twisted the door knob and pushed it open. Mom and Dad darted their eyes at me.

"Xiania..."

"Can we talk?" I queried.

Mom nodded her head. I sighed as I closed the door and faced them with my solemn face.

"Xiania, about what happened a while ago-"

"Mom, I don't want it..." I muttered firmly.

Dad exhaled. "Xiania, we're just worried about your future-"

"Dad, ikaw na rin po mismo ang nag sabi. You're both worried about my future! Paano kung hindi maging successful 'tong fixed marriage? What if hindi pala siya ang para sa akin? What if... Something's happened?"

I can't help but to feel anxious. I am afraid that my peaceful life would suddenly became chaotic. Ayaw ko ng ganoon, kaya nga mas pinipili ko na mag isa dahil ayaw ko ng mga problema. And now, this is the best solution that they could think of? God, I don't get them!

Mom shook her head. "No, we really think about this for almost a year now... Napapansin talaga namin ng Daddy mo na kailanman ay hindi ka man lang nag pakita ng interes sa mga lalaki, plus the fact that you're surrounded by the boys, baka natatakot lang na lumapit sa'yo ang mga lalaki."

I release a wry chuckle. "They're not a real men then, dahil lamang sa puros lalaki ang nakapaligid sa akin ay ayaw na nila? And so? I don't care."

"That's the point Xiania. Sa dami dami ng nagkakagusto sa'yo ay wala man lang nag atubiling lapitan ka, but that man, Vraxx Caldwell-"

My brow automatically arched, cutting my Dad's remnants. "What? He likes me? Tapos nagpapatulong sa inyo at sa mga pinsan ko?" I massively sighed.

"Mom, Dad.. Why can't you understand it? Ayaw ko nga po.." Halos pumiyok na ang boses ko.

Don't they think it's too risky? I don't even love nor like that man! And worst, hindi ko  talaga siya kilala! As in, ngayon lang dahil pinakilala nila, tapos kasal kaagad?

Yes, he is currently working in our Organization, and the Commander probably knew some background informations about him. But, I've never seen him around the headquarters! Kailanman ay ni hindi nga yata nagtagpo ang landas namin sa loob at labas, maski sa mga misyon.

What if, along the way we never clicked? What if, napipilitan lang siya ngayon at nape-pressure lang din kagaya ko? What if each of us would cheat? What if saktan ako ng lalaking iyon? Of course, I won't let him because I know how to fight, pero kahit na! I don't want that!

Baka pa mas lalong masira ang perceptions ko sa Marriage na 'yan. I was surrounded by a genuine and unconditional love of my parents and my other relatives, but it doesn't change my beliefs to that.

"Trust me with this Xiania. Okay, for now you'll gonna live with him first-"

My jaw dropped off. "What?!"

Mom weavered her hands. "Live in muna, then if you're both doing fine, doon na kayo mag papakasal..."

"Ma, you're stressing me out!" I groaned.

"Just try it, let's say for a month or two? What do you think, Xiania?" Dad negotiated calmly.

I pursed my lips, thinking of some possible solutions.

Live in for a while, then when we're both fine... We'll get married soon...

But if we didn't click.. For sure no marriage would happen, right? Right. I'll just make a plan for it later.

I took a deep breath, trying to compose myself. "Fine, let's try this nonsense-"

"Xiania.." Dad uttered.

"Papayag na nga po ako, Daddy.." I grunted.

"You have some plans inside that little head of yours right?"

I rolled my eyes. "Yes-"

"Huwag mo nang subukan," Mom chuckled. "You'll going to live with him, in his house to be exact."

I almost landed my palm on my forehead. God, this is stressing me big time!

"Wala ka ring kawala Xiania. When you don't follow us, the Commander will kick you out of the Organization," Dad grinned.

I exasperatedly sigh. "Fine! Fine!" I snorted before storming out of their room, but I was rooted in my place when Vraxx appeared in front of me.

His brow shot up when he noticed my infuriated expressions. "Do you want me to help you pack your things?"

My mouth gaped open. "Excited much, Vraxx? Crush na crush mo ba ako kaya ganyan ka ka-desperado?"

The corner of his mouth quirked up. "I am not yet starting Miss.."

"So, you really have a crush on me huh?" I gave him a lopsided grin.

"I didn't know that you're arrogant , Xiania..."

I smirked. "And I didn't know that you're desperate to be with me."

Then, his expression turned solemn. "Let's not start this relationship into a nonsense fight-"

"Wow, wow wait.. Don't you think it's a bit fast-" puno ng sarkasmong singhal ko.

"Gosh, I can't imagine myself visiting your not so peaceful house soon," Harriet interrupted behind.

I scoffed and turned my back on them. Dumiretso ako sa kwarto, ngunit bago ko pa iyon tuluyang maisara, mabilis nang pumasok si Vraxx sa loob.

"What the hell?" I exclaimed in disbelief. Ang kulit talaga!

He roamed his eyes around. "You have a nice taste, Miss. I hope you'll also like the interior design of our house."

Now, I'm getting curious. Saan kaya kami titira?

"Where's your closet? I'll help you pack your things."

"Wag na, kaya ko naman." I rolled my eyes, ignoring him. I walked towards my walk in closet, my lips twitched when I felt him following me inside. Hindi ko na lamang siya pinansin.

I pulled my luggage and started to pick all of my clothes that will be good for two weeks only. I glanced at Vraxx behind me, just standing while examining some of my clothes.

"I thought you'll help me?" I asked.

His eyes was questioning when he look at me. "Anong gagawin ko?"

The corner of my mouth turned up. "Pick some decent undergarments there," I pointed at the small drawers.

Vraxx obediently followed me. I was watching him while biting my lower lip. I saw how he swallowed hard when he saw what's inside.

"What's your favorite color?" he asked.

Kumunot ang noo ko. Kahit na nagtataka sa tanong niya, nagawa ko pa rin namang sumagot.

"Black, nude, pink."

I ridiculously watch how he pick every undergarments one by one. Itinupi niya pa iyon lahat ng maayos at isinalansan sa loob ng luggage ko nang naaayon sa kulay na siyang pinili ko.

I was a bit embarrassed but I chose to let him. I made myself busy by arranging my clothes and putting them inside the luggage.

"What is this Xiania? Do you need this also?" Vraxx asked.

I turned my head to face him. I shrieked in surprise when I saw him holding my nipple tape boxes.

"Don't stare at it! Of course, I need that! Put it inside!"

Vraxx chuckled because of my reaction. I was supposed to tease him and not the other way around! Ang bwisit na 'to, hina-high blood ako!

"Aren't you embarrassed about what happened earlier? You know, I caught you doing that to yourself..." he even swirled his fingertips in the air.

Ito na nga ang siyang iniiwasan ko na mangyari at pag usapan namin. Of course, I am ashamed a little that he saw me in that state, pero hindi ko ipahahalata iyon! Ang yabang pa naman nito.

"How about you? Aren't you going to confess why you were watching me a while ago?"

Vraxx bit his lower lip, a flash of blazing desire was seen in his eyes. "Damn, that was so effing hot you know?"

Tangina, ano 'to iniimagine niya? The fuck?

My eyes lowered on his bulge down there. My mouth pursed in amusement, especially when he probably noticed my stares on it, that's why he quickly covered his middle part using both of his hands.

"You're lusting over me. I'm sorry but I don't pleasure others," I smirked.

I was shocked when he chuckled hoarsely. It's screaming sarcasm and danger. "Oh, you'll beg for me to pleasure you sooner, Miss."

I sarcastically laugh. "You're too high on yourself, Caldwell. I can do that to myself. I also know how to use sextoys."

Vraxx was so stunned because of what I've said. That's why I continued. "Now, if you're searching for a woman who can pleasure you, then I'm telling you, it's not me. So, if I were you, I would back off now..."

And yes, I admit. I was just doing this for him to back out. Kung hindi ako pwede, malamang ay siya ang maaaring tumanggi. I am sure that he'll eventually get tired, because I couldn't give and satisfy his own needs. Lalaki pa naman.

I was about to turn around, when I stopped because Vraxx spoke and chortled afterwards, looking straight at me.

"Oh, don't worry about my sex life MiLady. My hands can do its job. I'll just imagine that I am fucking you senselessly so I can jack off, while thinking about you."
