The next day, I arrived at the medical centre. It’s a private one and I don’t need to worry about the leakage of personal information. As I walk towards the antenatal department, Damien comes out of nowhere. Why Selene? For fuck’s sake!

“You stalking me now?” I sneer as I walk past him. Why can’t I catch a fucking break? He didn’t bother with me this much when we were still mates and now he’s everywhere I go like a shadow.

“I have every right to see my pup, Rissa.”

I groan and kill him in my mind several times for this. Ignoring him, I enter the department and let the receptionist know I am here for my appointment.
