Chapter 41 - Lend me your clothes

Pov: Kayden

I look at Zara resting on the couch with a silly smile on her face. Walking over I ask, “What happened?”

“I was reading the piece of a news article that was published on the promotion of our new series. We even made jokes about each other, like how I’m clumsy and nobody thinks of me as a woman on the set. Everybody laughed and the promotion was successful. The host was happy to question us, there were cheers and Linda was pissed at my popularity that’s a bonus that I got. Most importantly the director praised me personally and said I have a lot of potential in the future.”

She shows me the article on the phone and I smile sweeping a glance across it. She was so easily satisfied.

We retreat to our room. Zara opened her wardrobe, took out her pajamas, and went to the bathroom for a shower. After a while, she yells from inside. “Kayden, who bought these pajamas? Why are they see-through?”

“Huh?” See-through?

“They are almost translucent.”
