Chapter 48 - Are you jealous?

My phone rang. It was Monica.

After calming down, I decided to be forgiving. Her actions were out of love for me. It was out of her character but it would be weird if she didn’t feel insecure in this situation. Hell, I am mad at myself that I’m hurting two women without even intending it.

Monica isn’t a bad person. I picked up the call.

“Kay… are you still angry?” she sounded pitiful.

I sigh “No.”

“Um… Where are you?”

“At Dr. Yohan’s.” she knew Yohan had been my personal doctor for many years.

“I’m sorry. Are you okay? I lost control. This won’t happen again. This whole thing is my responsibility.”

“It’s fine…” I replied. “Monica… I just… I’m not divorced yet.”

“I know. I will wait for you.”

I cannot understand the change of heart I’m having nor can I explain it to anyone. “You don’t have to…”

“No. I’ll wait for you.” She says adamantly. “I love you, Kay. You know I’ll do anything for you!”
