"You don't talk to Pete or any other man around here like that, am I clear?" Mae didn't give any form of response so I brought my face to hers."The next time you disrespect Pete, I won't stop him, I'll let him send you to a hospital."

Her eyes were red and some tears had formed in her eyes. I heard her sniff before shoving all of her hair back. Her cheek was red and swollen and she wore an angry frown. I smiled immediately. The frown gave her a different form of beauty.

"Don't let me get to the front door before you," I told her and turned around to leave. Pete followed suit and when we were at the stairs leading down, I saw her hurrying after us.

The car stopped when we got to the warehouse. I saw the container ship in which my goods were in. It was sitting in front of the warehouse.

After the door was opened and I had gotten out of the car with Pete and Mae, I went over to the container.
