Third person’s POV The day was going rather slowly and agonizingly for Calan; he had woken up this morning feeling rather shitty but he had pulled himself together and acted like all was fine because Alexa had been by his side, he hadn’t wanted to worry her in anyway, plus, he hadn’t thought it was serious. He had simply been dizzy and nauseous, his head ached and his chest felt unnaturally heavy.“Why don’t you go ahead and get ready for classes?”. He said to Alexa. He had wanted her to leave him as soon as possible just in case things went south. And when he had been left alone he had laid still for a while hoping the dizziness would subside, it had worked, and he was glad. He had pulled himself together, showered and gotten set for work, he had even tried to have breakfast with Alexa but the nausea just wouldn’t let him be.“You’re not eating”. Alexa had pointed out. And he had told her that he wasn’t hungry. It was only when she reminded him that he had barely eaten his dinne
Third person’s POV Alexa was glad she didn’t have to go through the stress of showing her ID or explaining that she wanted to see Calan and all, and the fact that Micheal was with her made things even easier. She had dialed Calan’s number again when they were in the elevator but he hadn’t answered and she had become even more anxious.“He’s not answering”. She said to Micheal.“It’s fine, we’re here after all”. He told her. They stepped out of the elevator when it came to a halt and headed to Rita’s desk at once.“Good day Sir, Ma’am”. She greeted. And Alexa could see the coldness in those eyes of hers as her gaze settled on her momentarily.“Is Calan in?”. Micheal asked her.“Yes, Mr. Grant is in but he doesn’t want any visitors at the moment”. She replied. “I’m afraid you’ll have to come back another time”.Alexa felt bile rise to her throat and she glared daggers at her.“Do we look like visitors you?”. She asked her.“I’m sorry Ma’am, I’m just following orders”. She said unapo
Third person’s POV Calan’s eyes fluttered open slowly, and for a moment everything seemed blurry as he lay there staring above. His mind was blank….or perhaps his thoughts were just too jumbled, or hazy? He dragged in a deep breath and blinked a couple of times to clear his vision.“Hey”. Micheal’s voice from beside him was all it took to pull his thoughts together. Micheal and Alexa had been here, Alexa….. He hadn’t wanted her to see him as he was, it had shattered him to have to watch her cry while being unable to do anything about it. He blinked once more and his vision finally became clear, he found Micheal where he had been earlier, and he would have thought he hadn’t left if he hadn’t noticed his jacket was off as was his tie.“Feeling better?”. He asked him. And he nodded. He cleared his throat quietly because he didn’t trust how his voice would sound.“How long has it been?”. He asked him.Micheal glanced at his wristwatch.“Four hours”. He replied.“Where’s Alexa?”. He a
Alexa’s POV My eyes fluttered open when I felt someone caress my cheek, I had just woken up but somehow I already knew who it was, and I to say I was relieved and glad would be an understatement. my eyes opened fully and my gaze were met the grey ones that I loved so much, and before I could stop myself I sat up and literally lunged into his arms. His hands wrapped around me and he placed a tender kiss on my head before saying; “It’s time to go home”. “You’re alright”. I said, my voice thick with relief and gratitude. “Yes, I told you I would be fine”. He said against my head. “Didn’t I?”. I nodded. I was so relieved that I literally had tears welling up in my eyes. “Tell me you didn’t cry much when I was asleep”. He said as he backed away from me slightly and looked up at my face. My heart constricted painfully as I recalled how he’d been earlier and my smile began to wilt. “I couldn’t help it”. I said quietly. “You were just so unwell and I was so scared”. “Don’t think
Third person’s POV The soft sounds of feminine moans sensually bounced off the walls of the dimly lit bedroom. April crumbled down onto Micheal breathing heavily as she came undone for the third time that evening, she tried to catch her breaths as he combed his fingers through her hair while breathily telling her just how well she had done.“Breathe”. He said to her. And she did just that. She lay against him while trying her possible to normalize her breathing, and once she managed to do that she raised her head to meet his gaze as a smile curved her lips.“You’re alright?”. He asked her and she nodded. She nodded.“I am”. She replied. He smiled and flipped her over so they were both lying on their sides, and for a moment all he did was stare at her, stare into her eyes, took in how bright they looked at the moment, and he reached out and brushed a golden lock of hair from her face. Something about seeing how Calan and Alexa cared about each other made him crave that amount of clo
THIRD PERSON’S POV “Oh fuck it all, I told you you were being unnecessarily anxious”. Sasha said as she raised her drink to her lips and took a long sip while Rayne and Alexa watched her patiently tell she lowered it. “I told you nothing was going to come out of it; I haven’t been summoned to faculty or wherever”. Alexa sighed and shook her head. “Yes, that’s because I was the one that got summoned”. She told her. Sasha had been about to sip her drink again but stopped at once. “What?”. She and Rayne asked at once. Alexa brushed a lock of hair from her face and leaned back into her seat. “Apparently, Leela told her sister that I along with my friends had dumped my drinks on her”. She told them. “And I got summoned to the president’s office”. Sasha set her drink down abruptly. “What? That sneaky little…”. She bit out. “Damn her”. Alexa merely nodded. “I explained what happened though”. She said. “We’re not in trouble”. “Of course not. You see, Alexa, you should have r
Back at home, Calan sat in the kitchen island with Mildred who was telling him about what meal she thought would make him get better quickly. He listened attentively as though his life depended on it, his life probably depended on it in a way though. "I'm sure that will help, and it'll help you sleep better as well". She told him. He nodded. "I do sleep well lately". He told her. He was almost proud to say it. "Very well indeed". She smiled warmly. "I noticed". She said. "Your eyes arent so dull anymore". He arched a brow slightly. "My eyes were never dull, Mildred". He said to her. She smiled. "I've known you for a long time, since you were a boy even". She said to him. "And i know your eyes have been dull". He let out a resigned breath before leaning back into his seat. "But they're better now though, and I'm glad". She said. He nodded. "It's wierd, but i sleep better with Alexa around". He told her, she was the closest thing he had to a maternal figure in his life so
Third person’s pov“That’s all for now, enjoy the rest of your day”. Micheal concluded his lesson for the evening and everyone begun packing up their stuff and leaving.Alexa however, had other plans, she knew she had to thank Micheal for helping her out yesterday and so she decided to wait behind till almost everyone had left before she picked up her bag and made her way to the podium where Micheal was seated at the desk going through something on his phone. His gaze flickered up on hearing approaching footsteps, and on realizing that it was her a small smile curved his lips. “Good evening, Sir”. She greeted quietly.“Good evening, Alexa”. Replied as he set his phone down giving her his full attention. “Please don’t address me as sir when we’re alone”.She awkwardly averted her gaze from his as she thought about what to say to that, and when she found nothing she simply nodded.“Is there something I can do for you?”. He asked her and she shook her head almost immediately.“No, i….
