SEVENTY EIGHT

Third person’s POV

A slight frown creased Calan’s temple as he digested what Micheal had told him. Once again, they stood in the parking lot while Calan waited for Alexa who had no idea he was here. Micheal had called him earlier saying he had something to tell him and he had decided to stop by. Both men stood conversing about the matter at hand, and to say Calan was displeased would be an understatement.

“I don’t remember Leela to be quite the brat”. He said as he thought back to the young and shy girl he remembered her to be.

“Unfortunate, she grew up to be a brat”. Micheal said as he leaned back against his car. “A brat who could have easily bullied your wife had her friend not stood up for her”.

He was probably adding fuel to the fire but he truly didn’t care, not when Alexa was involved.

Calan’s eyes darkened considerably as he thought about it; the fact that Alexa had told him nothing of it was what upset him even more.
