Third person’s POV

It was all good now, they had made peace, yet April couldn’t help but notice that no matter how hard she tried to get Micheal to touch her, he wouldn’t. She had been seated by his side pressing her lush bosom against him and purring quietly to get him to indulge her but he had simply smiled and planted a tender kiss on her head, all the while his gaze remained glued to the book he had been reading.

Of course she knew this had something to do with what she had stupidly said and she so desperately wanted to put this behind her for good, behind them.

“Why won’t you touch me?”. She asked him quietly.

His gaze flickered to hers and he arched a brow slightly.

“My hand is draped over you at the moment”. He replied. “You don’t consider that touching?”.

She pressed herself further against him and his gaze involuntarily flickered from her face to her lush bosom briefly and then back to her face.
