Alexa’s POV

It had been a long day; it was bad enough that I had been sad all day, and the fact that classes just had to be more exhausting made it even worse. It was October and the school had been abuzz with the whole Halloween parties and all, and I probably would have been excited to throw my own party if my mood wasn’t so horrible.

Not to talk about the fact that everyone kept staring at me while whispering about how good Layla looked with Calan and all, it had bothered me so much that for a moment I had just gone to the restroom and locked myself in a stall, and I had cried, I had let my tears flow freely till everything became numb and blurry, and I had wiped my eyes, washes my face and tried to appear natural.
