'You think her husband saw them?'

'.....you think he put them there?'

Alexa kept her head down as she kept on walking, she tried her very best to ignore the whispers and focus on where she was going. In every honesty she wasn't even sure where she was going, her next class was in an hour and she couldn't stay behind at the lecture hall because Micheal had been there.

One would think that the talk they had the other day would have made things better between them but it truly hasn't, perhaps it had made things even more awkward. And of course things would have been even more awkward if he had seen her with her hair up and her neck all subtly painted red, he might as well think she was mocking him.

Calan had told her not to cover his marks on her neck and she had listened, she hadn't intended to conceal them with any make up, but then he had gone ahead to request that she wore her hair up today.
