Maria’s POV

I sat in hot tub soaking my body in hot water, my mind was floating, what had I done? The moment we had both heard each others thoughts, we had rushed off each other, Alex had helped me dress and then I had left in a hurry, we had not said a single word to each other until we left.

I had entered the house through the servant’s gate for fear of running into Ethan, one look at me and he will know what I had done, my mind had raced until I managed to get into my room and immediately throw my clothes into the laundry and open the hot water tap.

I had been in here for the past 30 minutes now and I still not get Alexander’s touch out of my mind, every touch had been like liquid fire upon my skin, I had never such primal need and aggressive want before, I had felt like if he had not touched me, I would have lost my mind.
