Chapter 156: Suspicion

I still can’t believe that I’m engaged to Ronald. Happiness radiates from within me as I contemplate the opportunity to give Miracle a wholesome family, and I am absolutely certain that Ronald will excel as a father and husband.

Except for my parents and even Darryl, Ronald and I have told no one else about our engagement.

“Would you like us to have an engagement party to let the people closest to us know we are getting married?” Ronald asked me.

“I don’t think so.” I answered.

“Why don’t you want to?”

“No. Not that I don’t want to. You’re too busy right now.”

“Don’t worry about me. I’ll try to have time if it’s for the two of us and for the three of us and Miracle.”
