POV: SNOW WHITE

"Thank you so much, Princess Snow." The woman said with teary eyes.

She looked good in my gown compared to the messy gown she had worn the last time I was there. She smiled through her tears and I could see just how grateful she was for the little I had done. They were all grateful.

"It's nothing, Ines. Just take care of the little ones." I gestured to the children munching at the pie with a savage's brutality.

I could see Carla's worried gaze on me. Her eyes were telling me to hurry the fuck up. I would have done the exact opposite but I had to talk with Dr. Hargreaves before he left the palace.

"Where's Oscar?" I asked the woman without paying much attention.

She shrugged, "He's probably off somewhere hunting in the dark woods. Yunno that's where all the best games are."

I nodded. It was forbidden to step foot into the dark wood since the incident with Hansel and Gretel filled the news but then Oscar wasn't just an ordinary man going into that deadly place to hunt.
