CHAPTER EIGHT

POV: SNOW WHITE

I looked at the lone cabin once again then back at the bloody sheet of crumpled paper in my hands. I had a feeling I was at the right place but I had to be cautious. Having too much confidence never did any good.

The forest around me was quiet. The light seeping into the woods was enough to let me know it was daytime yet there was a darkness in the air that felt alive. This was no place for a young woman to be yet here I was contemplating a choice I knew I didn't have. It was either I walk up to the cabin and risk coming across a witch inside or I stay out here like a fool and risk being attacked by something more sinister than a witch. Either way, I was fucked.

My tears had dried and I'd gathered a little composure but that didn't stop the slight tremble in my bones. It was part fear and uncertainty about what I was going to face next. I guess killing a man that had been so close to dismembering my head was not as fun as I thought it would be especially
