Pushed

Cisca walked into Alden's room with her cleaning tools.

On getting there, she knocked on the door. 

A voice told her to come in.

She pushed the door open and 

met Alden lying in bed.

"Lock it." He said.

He was tired from the medications. She didn't like seeing him down like this.

It was a matter of days before he bounced back to normal.

She wanted to go hug him but she hesitated. She knew that he said he wanted them to be together.

But she didn't think it was appropriate.

Alden sensing her hesitation beckoned to her.

"Come here, Cisca."

She hurried towards him and went to hug him tightly avoiding his stomach area. That was where the assailant cut him.

"You missed me." He teased. Flicking her nose as she looked down shyly.

"Yes." She replied quietly.
