Chapter sixty one

When Matthew and I still hadn't finished our meal, the company's employees had already gone back to work. They also seemed to have noticed something unusual in their boss's room, but no one dared to look this way.

Still, I knew their attention was always on me and Matthew. The feeling of being noticed by others was unfamiliar to me, and subconsciously my actions were more rigid.

"Have you finished your meal yet?" I asked Matthew in a low voice. Although I knew people outside couldn't hear what we were saying to each other, I subconsciously forced myself to speak as quietly as possible. The main purpose was to make myself feel secure.

"Can't you see I'm still eating?" Matthew looked up at me.

"Don't just sit there and watch me eat, you haven't eaten much, you have to eat more or you'll get thinner and thinner." Matthew said and popped a piece of salad into my mouth.

"I'm done eating." I put my hand on my stomach to prove what I said to Matthew. "Look, my stomach is full, if I eat anymo
