I wasn't sure I'd heard right. What the hell?

"Lannon's healing ability has slowed down. He won't be able to heal like a normal werewolf. He'll heal slower.," She replied, avoiding my eyes.

I stood up and paced a little. Was this even possible? I tried to make some sense of it, but I couldn't.

"Elaborate." I ground out.

Zelda glanced down the hall. We were in the living room, close to where Lannon was. In different circumstances, I was sure he'd hear us.

"He's out." I told Zelda.

We'd left him in the room for him to get some rest, so I was sure he'd be sleeping.

"I think the wolfsbane did something to him. It was in his system for too long. I'm guessing that there are some leftover wolfsbane particles in him." She explained, crossing her arms.

"I thought that rare herb of yours cured him. Zelda, the herb was supposed to heal him of everything. That's what you said, wasn't it?" I asked.

What was the point of getting the herb if it didn't cure him?
