Lillith sighed and slid back into her seat. This talk they were going to have had happened quite a few times and she wasn't ready to get into another with him because they always ended the same way. Well, whatever he wanted to say better now ended up in an argument.

He finished up the last of his meal and wiped his mouth with the neatly folded silk napkin before gulping down his glass of wine. "Have you come to a decision?"

"Not yet," Lillith replied quietly. "We just talked about it a few hours ago. You don't expect me to come to a conclusion within that space of time,"

Leon closed his eyes and sighed. "But there is no time for that, Lillith. The coronation is in a few days' time,"

"Will Lucien still be here on the day of the Coronation?"
