Breakfast the next morning was quite a dull one. Leon had gone to the dungeons to negotiate with Lucien again and Melissa had her own plans. One she was planning to carry out now that Lillith was not here yet.

She had made herself quite useful in the kitchen, much to everyone's surprise. The maids loved her anyway. That was one thing Lillith had a disadvantage over.

She was beautiful, good at acting like she was nice. Even the chief chef made her taste some of the newest dishes she was making and after breakfast was prepared, she offered to help with taking the dishes to the dining room.

It wasn't something they wanted to do but they were already used to her so Tiffany allowed her.

She was the last to leave the dining table after the maids had dished everything out. She quickly drew out a small dark brown bottle that contained a concentrated liquid. She made sure she had eaten first before adding the poison to it. She was very sure that Leon wasn't going to appear
