Angel

The moment Heaven walked through the door, I felt a surge of anger and concern rush through me. She was just nine years old, and the thought of her going out without my permission made my blood boil. I couldn't help but scold her, my voice filled with a mix of frustration and worry.

"Heaven, where have you been? I explicitly told you not to leave the house without my permission!" I exclaimed, my tone stern and commanding.

Heaven looked down, her eyes filled with a mixture of fear and defiance. "I'm sorry, Dad," she murmured, her voice barely audible.

My frustration grew, and I pressed further, needing answers. "Who brought you home? How did you get here?" I demanded, trying to understand what had transpired.

Heaven hesitated, then softly replied, "A woman brought me home. She knew the way effortlessly."
