Chapter sixty eight

Selena

When I arrived home, my heart heavy with a mix of emotions, I went straight to my and Channel's room. Collapsing onto the bed, tears streamed down my face, the weight of the past crashing over me once again.

Channel, sensing my distress, entered the room and closed the door gently behind her. Concern etched across her face as she approached me, her voice filled with empathy. "Selena, what happened? Why are you so upset?"

I took a deep breath, gathering my thoughts, before meeting Channel's gaze. "Channel, there's something important I need to tell you. Something that I've kept hidden for too long," I began, my voice quivering with emotion.

She sat down next to me, her eyes filled with compassion. "You can tell me anything, Selena. I'm here for you."

I reached out and took her hand, seeking comfort in her presence. "You remember Heaven, the girl we saw at the theater?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Channel nodded, her eyes widening in surprise. "Yes, I remember her.
