As Angel left my office, I tried to gather my thoughts and focus on the task at hand. However, before I could regain my composure, Channel barged into the room with an excited expression on her face.

"Oh my god, Selena! You won't believe what just happened!" she exclaimed, practically bouncing with enthusiasm.

I sighed, my weariness evident in my voice. "What is it, Channel? I'm not in the mood for games or gossip right now."
