Heaven's POV:

I stormed into my father's study, frustration and anger boiling within me. "Dad, there's no way I'm marrying Chase. He's insufferable, and he kidnapped Eden!"

My father sighed, his face reflecting a mixture of concern and exasperation. "Heaven, we need to handle this carefully. Marrying into the Chase family is crucial for our standing, and confronting them directly won't solve anything."

I clenched my fists, my determination unwavering. "I won't let them control my life, Dad. I'm not some pawn in their twisted game."

He nodded, a plan forming in his mind. "We'll go to Chase's house tonight. But remember, violence won't solve anything. We need to negotiate and find a way to secure Eden's release without escalating the situation."

That night, under the cloak of darkness, we arrived at Chase's imposing mansion. I couldn't shake the unease as we approached, the weight of the gun hidden in my bag providing a grim sense of assurance.
