Chapter 2 - How Can She Move On?

A loud crack woke her up. Sheena cursed because a car blocked their way. It was literally on their way, and it looks like it owns the road.

"Why are we having such bad luck today?" Sheena said, frustrated.

She stormed out of the car and walked up to the black Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita. She was not stupid to not know that this is one of the most expensive cars in the world. She wants to go home and forget this night. And whoever drives this luxurious car that was on her way will taste her wrath.

"Hoy! Ano pag-aari mo itong kalsada, ha? Aba, mahiya ka. May dadaan dito, oh. Sipain ko 'tong sasakyan mong gago ka, eh!" Hey! Are you the owner of this highway? Be ashamed. We are going to drive our way home! I am going to kick your car, asshole!

She said this with her hands on both sides of her waist.

"Lianne, we are in Pennsylvania, he won't understand you!" Sheena said this nervously, still in the driver's seat.

She arched her brow. It's a good thing the driver won't understand what she's saying. The wind blew harshly, so some strands of her hair flew away, then the light from the headlight of the black Koenigsegg made her eyes hurt.

The car's door opened. Her breathing stopped, and suddenly she could utter a word when the man she was wishing not to see anymore walked out of the car. His face was serious, and his eyes were glaring at her. It seems like a tragedy is about to happen. She just rolled her eyes, it was not surprising that this man was rich. She almost forgets about it! The man walked, stopped at the hood of his expensive car, and sat down with his arms crossed.

"Now what?" she grumbled.

"You mistaken me for someone, woman," he said, his face still dark.

"Mistaken my ass! Don't fool me, Zyd! Get lost or I'll kick your balls," she warned him and crossed her arms in front of the man.

"Cous, let's go home. Our deaths will be so soon because of you!" Sheena shouted nervously, still inside the car, not wanting to get out because of fear.

The man smirked. His expression softened for a split second before going stern again. He approached her. She didn't move; it seemed like she had forgotten everything. The man in front of her is now 6'4' tall, and his body was massive in comparison to hers. She will look like a Barbie doll if she stands beside him.

She can't deny the fact that Zyd is extremely attractive and oozes sex appeal, plus he’s a Canadian. His newly cut brown hair gives chills to every woman who looks at him. He has a gorgeous appearance thanks to his hazel-brown eyes, long eyelashes, and brow. He had a pair of kissable lips. A sharp nose that matches his brow. And because he's recently shaved, he seems much younger than his 30 years. Her heart went crazy all of a sudden. Shit!

Her heart was not cooperating again, she went through this and moved on!

She quickly turned and went back to Sheena. She didn't want her heart to betray her again! She really needs to go! She was about to get in the car quickly, but to her surprise, a strong arm pulled her arm, and she didn't know what happened next. A passionate kiss greeted her, and one hand hugged her tightly around the waist while the other supported her head.

She was completely shocked! Plus, the cold wind blew, and she felt like the stars were dancing in her eyes. Why hadn't she felt this before when she kissed him? Wait... He kisses her, and suddenly reality hits her. She resisted, but the man held her waist tight enough to stop her from running away, and his kiss got deeper. Oh, his kiss was divine, and her knees were melting. She responded to his kiss, but the man suddenly released her and stepped back.

"I just returned the kiss you stole, Miss Fierce," the man said as he walked away from her and into his car.

While she was left speechless. If Sheena didn't approach and pull her, she would not regain her composure.

"What was that Lianne Elhouette Vergara!" Sheena exclaimed when they finally entered the car. "That was unbelievable! The great Zyd Caiden kissed you. Oh my goodness! Good thing I grabbed a few photographs of you two. It was mind blowing. We need to get home. I am going nuts because of you!"

While she was still dazed and touching her lips. Really? He really did kiss her? Oh my!

Her heart! Her heart is out of control again. What is he talking about? Getting back the kiss she stole? What the hell... So, why did he take so much back? What will she do next? She was absolutely befuddled.

She wanted to scream in frustration, but her mind was distracted by that man's irritating face and the kiss he gave her. She can still feel the strong arm around her waist and the lips kissing hers. All hail Mary!

She slapped herself. She is unable to progress in this state. Shit!

How can she move on now? Jeez!

THE FOLLOWING DAY, when her aunt arrived home, she pulled their ears and started nagging them. Her aunt had just gotten home from a 1-week seminar, so that’s why they had plenty of free time during the past few days to go out bar hopping.

"Ouch, mum! Stop it! Stop pulling my ear." Sheena whimpered, and so she was.

"Aunt Mariya! My ear, my ear!"

"You two, explain the video that has gone viral on social media!"

"What video?!" Sheena and she stare at each other with shocked expressions on their faces.

She hurried as fast as thunder to get her aunt Mariya's phone. What kind of video? She has no video scandals, and even less—Oh, my God!

"Lemme see!" Sheena grabbed the phone and went to Twitter, searching for the video her mother had mentioned.

When she saw how she kissed the man and how hard she slapped it on the video, she bit her lower lip. Even though her face was concealed by the dim lighting and the surroundings, she knew her aunt would still be able to recognize her when she turned around to leave and the bar light touched her face.

Sheena nervously said, "Um... mum, actually," with a bitter look on her face.

She shook her head. She got hot under the collar when she saw the caption, which has already received 2 million views!

‘Our Captain Zyd Caiden McCluskey was kissed by Ms. Red Stalker.’

Really? The caption is over the top! She can sense the jealousy of the person who posted the video. Stalker? Really? God! She only asked for restitution for what he had done to her. People nowadays desire to become famous overnight simply by posting such videos! Argh. But who cares?

"Stubborn kid!" she nags them both. "And you, Lianne, I didn't stop you from doing what you want because you're already an adult, but the fact that you stole a kiss and slapped that man who's driving the girls crazy here in Pennsylvania is another thing, kid. You're giving me a heart attack! Okay, I'll simply rest for the time being. God! You two are grounded for one month, and no more barhopping," she remarked, before turning her back on them.
