EVANORA'S POV

"Are you sleeping?"

Shaking my head, I snuggled closer to Blade and had him wrap his arms around me tighter.

I was curled up on his lap, head rested on his chest and the only audible sound between us came from each other's heartbeat. After all my protests with him, I was tired and just surrendered myself in his arms.

"Are you sure?" He asked again.

"I'm not, Blade," I replied to him with a very light chuckle. It was understandable though. We had been in that position for close to thirty minutes and neither of us uttered a single word, just enjoying the comfort of each other's arms. "Your arms are comfy. That's all."

"Alright then," he placed a kiss on my forehead as he replied to me. "These arms are all yours so feel free."

I smiled then raised my head to look him directly in the eye. He met my gaze, titled his head, and smiled at me in return. "What? Aren't my arms comfy anymore?"
