BLADE'S POV

I had changed and I knew it myself.

Seeing Evanora every night had become the highlight of my day and I spent the rest of the days, counting down to the moment. I was mainly in a good mood as only got cranky when my time to go meet Eva was delayed.

That morning was no different as I woke up feeling refreshed from Evanora's long embrace from the night before. I could still smell her around me, feel her gentle touch, and taste her lips so it only made sense that I was in another extremely good mood.

I noticed my mother's absence during breakfast and honestly, I wasn't bothered. Getting on each other's nerves had become the only thing we did nowadays so it was better if we stayed out of each other's ways as much as we could.
