I hated how going out to see Blade suddenly felt like a gamble.

For some reason, he had managed to still stay in my mind throughout the whole day but what lurked in my mind alongside him were the witch's words.

You should be careful of your actions, Princess Evanora because if you're not careful, they might cost you lives.

Her words resonated in my head and brought along a new wave of confusion every time. Sure, she was a witch but did that involve her being able to go through people's thoughts?
