BLADE'S POV

Excitedly counting down to the hours left till I got to see Evanora had become a normal thing for me to do but at the same time, it seemed to be one I never got tired of.

As quickly as I could, I concluded my activities for the day and returned to my room to get prepared to see Evanora. She had managed to stay on my mind the whole day as I didn't just miss her, I was also worried about her.

After our last meeting, I couldn't help but constantly worry about how she was fairing. How her dad was treating her and how she was dealing with it. I wondered if they were still insisting on getting her married and even worse if it was still affecting her to the point of tears.

Just the thought of Evanora crying managed to enrage me. She was so precious to me, I swore I wouldn't hesitate to kill anyone who laid a finger on her or made her shed tears.

With a grunt, I stepped out of the bathroom. Unfortunately, her dad was the one in question at the moment so there was little, if not no
