EVANORA’S POV

I had no idea I could miss the training that much.

The familiar movements as we threw punches and kicks, the grunts that erupted from us as a result, the stench of sweat, and the feeling after defeating Matthew- I missed it all so much though it had only been a few days.

Truth was that I missed being in action. I missed doing things other than sulking and getting angrier with every passing second. Though wasn’t perfect, I missed my old life before it took its very dramatic turn.

“I see you’ve gotten extremely good, princess,” Matthew commented as he took my hand. “To be honest, I was expecting a little slack from you considering you haven’t done any training or activity in the past couple of days.”

“Too bad,” I snickered. “You didn’t get what you were expecting.”

“Tell me,” he said as he dusted his hands. “What were you doing for the whole three days? Training secretly? Now that I think about it, you don’t seem like the kind of person to just sit around calmly doing noth
