August's POV:

"Any questions?" Felix asked calmly.

She had just finished showing me around the house, and I had yet to meet the rest of the house members because they weren't around.

"No, I would just love to take a rest," I answered.

"Sure thing, follow me," she said, then turned and walked into the corridor as I followed behind

Her house was different from what I had imagined. Because she was a vampire, I had pictured her living in a cold, dark place. But then again, Leo had stayed here for years, so this place wouldn't lack a fatherly touch.

"Here is your bedroom," she said when she reached a room and opened the door.

"If you are uncomfortable with anything, let me know," she said as I walked in, looking around.

The room was simple, with a bed in the center and a desk on my left. The wardrobe was on my right, next to another door which I was sure was the bathroom.

"The room is nice," I whispered, then moved and sat down on the bed.
