Xiao's POV:

I sat next to Mika, observing the warriors who were happily drinking and chatting, while some she-wolves were serving the men snacks and food. Some were busy dancing and singing to lighten up the mood. The whole place was lively, and it felt so good to be a part of it.

"The alpha is kind of late," Alec said, then looked at his wristwatch seriously.

Most she-wolves were looking at him indecently, yet he seemed to pay no attention to them, although I was sure he could feel it.

"Speak of the devil," one warrior said when the door to the pack hall opened and he walked in with Luna Sherry by his side.

The room instantly went quiet as our gaze fixed on him.
