Whitney's p.o.v

The past few days were a bit awkward and distant for us. I was happy that my mate was honest and open with me but also sad over knowing he had taken a few females to bed.

"Stop it!. He was honest and apologetic over his past actions." Sia growled furiously.

"I know." I whispered softly.

I looked up when Leo covered me with his coat.

"It's cold." He whispered while he sat down next to me on a huge rock.

Since that day he had opened up to me, he was no longer asking me questions. He was giving me my needed space.

A few times I caught him staring at me with a very sad expression on his face and most times we ate in silence.

"I'm sorry." He whispered softly.

Everyday he made it his duty to apologize without fail and I brushed him off.

"I know I have no right to touch you as of now, but I'm dying to. Ever since you stopped looking my way or talking to me much, my wolf and I have been lonely." He said in a low tone.
