(Third Person’s POV)

Lola knew that she had to play her cards right while she was in this situation. She didn’t think the planting an idea in Diana’s head would work, and she needed a backup plan.

When Lola noticed how Noah was the only one coming to see her now, she thought, why not? She wanted to poke the bear.

“You remember that night you came back from an event, angry because your rival was there?” Lola tried to make Noah reminisce back to when she was playing a character in her life.

It worked though.

Noah gave her a small smile, “you did this thing where you helped me relax by washing my hair, drying it, letting me lay my head on your lap, then you would twist my hair till I fell asleep.”

Lola smiled.

While Noah believed that Lola was smiling at the memories, in reality, Lola loved that she didn’t even have to try that hard to get in between their marriage.
