She was only pulled out of her thoughts when she felt a warm hand on top of her own. It was as though it was like a fire that had been able to extinguish the burning that was then lost between her own fingers.

She pulled her eyes open slowly as she lifted up her gaze towards him. He had an expression on his fact that was unreadable as he gave her a tight lipped smile.
