48. SABOTAGE
“Are you okay?” I asked after slipping so many times I was all yellow.
“Yeah, I am fine.” The woman said, standing up and trying to wipe off the butternut. A breath escaped me, relieved she was okay.
“Are you okay luna?” A panicked voice came behind me as I turned, seeing Stern with me nodding my head, not even able to speak as I took in all the mess all around us and I felt as if I was losing my mind. I did not even know where to start with everyone frozen where they were. The smell hit my nostrils, snapping me in action.
I turned off all the stoves, standing in utter horror with me waving my hands to get rid of the dripping butter nut. At that point all I wanted was to just get through the day, I did not care anymore but just to get through it.

The music filled the whole house. Traditional songs were played as the sun went over the horizon. Everyone was happy in the pack, all talking about the whole event and how great it was. I took pleasure in it, a soft smile gracing my face.“Luna, you are late, aren’t you supposed to attend the ball?” One of the ladies asked, pulling me from the dishes I was washing. My heart clenched with me swallowing.The whole kitchen froze from her words, all of them giving her looks leaving her perplexed.“No Grensy. I had never felt so cold, I had never felt so out of touch with my environment. Each step I took left my body quivering as if it would shutter. Getting to the kitchen, I took all I would need for breakfast, especially that which needed to be defrosted. When it was all out I took everything I would need for baking and just as I was about to start mixing, the kitchen door opened.
