58. AN EYE FOR AN EYE

As soon as the doors opened, all in that room stood up on their feet, their knees hitting the floor as they bowed to the king.

The king stepped forward, walking ahead and he looked like a God. Each step he took was as if he was walking into heaven. He was a man that carried himself with such pride and dignity. I felt compelled to bow to him and worship him. I watched his back flex, the muscles showing even under the shirt. I was sure that there was none other like him.

I was so short compared to him, walking behind, the height difference very apparent. Brum was next to me, him large too.

I could not see ahead; my line of sight obstructed by a heavenly king that I wanted to love so much but it was surely out of the question.
