I curtseyed, bowing my head and going as low as I could in the heels I was wearing.
“My king.” I greeted.
“Luna.” He greeted back, my head rising with our eyes meeting and I thought I would faint. He was the most handsome man I had seen and his scent, it was driving me insane especially because he was fresh from the shower and I could still see his hair wet. I wanted to just run my hands through it while pulling him to smash my lips against his. The room got hot, him seeming trapped too. I missed him, I missed him dearly but it was not in the stars for us.
The silence in the room, so quiet as if someone died just snapped me out of it. I swallowed, slowly rising with my legs shaking for I had been in that position for too long. His hand came out and I did not even think, grabbing it for support with the sparks as if to kill me. I closed my eyes, a feeling I adored very much.

It was a sight for nightmares. It was a play for demons. The screams had it worse with the blood splashing all over the walls. My shaking hands held onto Conri. I felt as if someone was pulling a baby from my womb, so pale and sick I could not even scream.
