The king’s words just added to my stress. They would be going to war in a week, they were stressed themselves, what could I do to help them stress less? What could I do to help Rose?
I went to Alpha Bush but it seemed as if something had chirped in him and seeing me riled him up so I apologized and stepped away without even saying another word.
There was nowhere I could help, my head drumming as if to split to a thousand pieces with my hands shaking from it yet I thought I would go insane if I continued standing where I was so I rushed to the kitchen.
The heat just knocked me on the face, heads turning with greetings coming but I was barely there. I moved around, helping where I could but I ended up creating more of a mess.

It was a sight for nightmares. It was a play for demons. The screams had it worse with the blood splashing all over the walls. My shaking hands held onto Conri. I felt as if someone was pulling a baby from my womb, so pale and sick I could not even scream.
