CHAPTER 13: LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

Aiden looked up at the skies, the stars were gleaming, and the moon was glinting, setting the dark blue clouds in a distinct glow. He slid his hands into his pocket and looked at the earth before shaking his head and leaning on the rough barks of the tree he was standing next to. He understood that no matter how hard he tried to fall in love, he would never get there. He could never find love. His heart was gradually accepting the truth that he had lost Lynette forever. He knew that Hadrian and Marissa must have left and his brothers would be looking for Zachary who disappeared during the fight. Sighing, he recalled what happened eight years ago.
