Weeks and weeks passed by and there was no sign of Lynette. Colby was worried about his brother who he had stabbed with a steak and locked up in the dungeon after he revealed that he was going to leave Arcadia Falls. He also reminded Amaya about their first date and apologized that he forgot their date due to the problems they were dealing with. He fixed a new date during the weekend and it went blissfully, they enjoyed each other's company. Elijah had lost hope of finding his mother since Amelia was dead and Zachary was nowhere to be found. Marissa had recruited more hunters into the community and was training them every day. They were yet to schedule when to attack the Vadim and destroy him. Meanwhile, Vadim had been sending more of his minions to attack the O'Connor's with Esmeralda leading the horde of vampires. Beckham had warned Esmeralda to leave Arcadia Falls, but she was recalcitrant. He didn't know what else to do, but to save her life every time they came across one another.
