CHAPTER 39: BIRTH OF A HYBRID

“You can't bail on me.” Liam admitted as he gently placed Hadrian on the ground and continued to blink his eyes. He had gotten rid of the bullets, but the spell cast on the bullet was meant to kill Liam. It was killing Hadrian instead. He was going to die and nothing would work. If he had some strength left, he would have managed to save himself.

“I can't use my magic. I'm so weak. I don't know how Diana did it, but she weakened me. Tell my sister that I love her so much. That I would never forget her no matter the circumstance.” Hadrian asserted as his eyes were submitting to the blackness. He could already see himself in the phenomenal plane.

“Maybe my blood could heal you.”

“It would only turn me into a vampire.” Hadrian warned.

“It doesn't matter.” Liam roared as he bit his wrist and forced his blood into his mouth. Hadrian struggled to break free from his hold, but Liam continued until he felt it was enough.

“The spell of the witch who made the bullet is killing me.”
