Chapter 1: THE CEO (SEQUEL)

Zebastian's point of view

Time flies by so quickly. As I stepped out of my luxury vehicle, the guard arrived to take my belongings and deliver them to someone assigned to my office.

The world's largest building, the center of attraction, and the building that employs millions of people, all of whom are paid well. A massive structure that provided employment regardless of your educational level. It was done on purpose to be categorical. From the lowest to the highest level of education attained.

It was the only building that hired a high school graduate and provided them with free education. Why? As a result, they will not remain on that ground for the rest of their lives.

DREAM HIGH CORPORATION provided all possible opportunities, particularly to those in need. It was a car dealership, the most recent dealership for all types of vehicles. We sell automobiles and all automobile accessories. Branches had been established all over the world, managed by people I knew and trusted. Yours truly, Zebastian Dawson, owns and manages it.

"Good morning, sir," my secretary said as she walked into my office.

I was about to take a seat when I noticed someone behind her, so I took a deep breath and sent my secretary out of the room.

She complied because she was used to it.

"What brought you here, Hattie?"

Hattie Lane is her name. the daughter of a business acquaintance. She was claiming that we were in a relationship, but that is not the case for me. She always combed her hair and wished her a good day. It's certainly not my fault. She needs my company, and I need her company too. But it will remain that way indefinitely. Give and take relationship.

She's not my type, to be honest, and I've lost interest in girls since... damn. I'm not going to think about it. It will undoubtedly ruin the day.

"Hello, Zeb. I've missed you."

She approaches me and sits on my lap. I could feel her soft butt in my lap and her massive boobs in front of me. This woman is a scumbag. She knows how to irritate me.

What the hell is wrong with me if all I feel for her is lust?

"Wait a minute, Hattie, I'm at work and it's office hours."

"Shhhh. Don't give that shit to me, Zeb. You own the company, and you always know how to make excuses, here you are the law; I know you."

"I know, but I have a meeting in an hour and I don't have time for this right now, so could you please..."

She was deafeningly silent. She had just kissed me passionately, and I could feel her hands in my toy. She attempted to unzip my pants, and there she is.

She began to remove her clothes until she was completely naked.

She's perfect—her figure, her skin, everything about her—so who am I to argue and resist?

I led her to the couch and gave her what she needed. I can see her biting her lips and closing her eyes as she played the game.

It was early in the morning, but I was exhausted from caressing her big boobs. I sucked her in and made her happy.

We just laughed together.

That's how we do it. Anytime, anywhere..

That was part of growing up for me. Having sex with Hattie brightened my day. Unfortunately, it wasn't just sex on her part, and that was the part I despised the most...

When Hattie finished putting on her dress, she looked at me.

"What?" I asked her as I rushed to get ready for my meeting.

"I was just wondering when you were going to propose to me."

I burst out laughing.

"What's funny?" she asked again, crossing her brows...

"Hattie, you've got to be kidding; if it's a joke, okay, it made me laugh," I said.

"Zeb, I'm not making fun of you, it was never a joke on me, and you know that. I'm serious.. I'm serious.. You are at your right age, and so am I. I wanted to build a family of my own like my brothers have; I am the only one single in the family, and.."

"Hattie, getting married was never on my mind, okay? You can see how busy I am with my business, and I wanted to focus on it. We had an agreement. We came into this kind of setup. No pressure, no commitment at all, and most importantly, no marriage to talk about. I was just trying to remind you..." I said, adjusting my tie.

I saw disappointment on her face. I'm familiar with her.

"Zeb, didn't you tell me you were taking that seriously? We're just having sex for no reason? You know, I love you, and I've always been by your side; I never looked around for a replacement, knowing that guys out there are willing to do anything to replace you. Everything just to be with me!"

"Hattie, I wasn't one of those guys; remember how I said I don't like commitments and hate pressures in relationships? That was a big distraction on my part as a businessman."

"So unreasonable, Zeb. Businessmen are seen to be very happy with their own families, which serves as their inspiration and motivation."

"I'm not one of them..- having a family was never my plan.. I can go out for fun, and that's enough for me, so if you think you're wasting your time staying with me, then you're free to go and find that soon-to-be family that you were saying, okay? I won't stop you."

I couldn't imagine saying those words to such a beautiful woman.

I'm sorry for what happened to her, but I was just trying to be true to myself and to her.

I'm familiar with her kind. I know she was just looking for my name. Being associated with the name I worked so hard to obtain. a name that was once underestimated and dismissed.

I know that girls will strive for a bright future. They will seek a good and comfortable life, one that will ensure that all of their needs are met.

"I'm sorry, Hattie, but I can't stay in my office all day, I need to catch up on my meeting, and I think I'm 10 minutes late, I have to go."

She took her handbag and left the office first. I'm sure she felt bad about what I said to her—life. that's It is sometimes necessary to hear something negative in order to realize that we are not always on top.

And I'm sorry that Hattie had to deal with the worst of me. I altered... from a man with nothing but the desire to give love. to a man who has everything but doesn't believe in the concept of love

Not any longer...

That was after I was dumped because I had nothing to offer.
