Chapter Forty Six

Vikrant knew what she wanted to say before her father even spoke. He'd known last night that it'd probably come to this and Kaly had confirmed it too. He saw the pain in Sarita's eyes and knew it was reflected in his too so he just shook his head preventing her from saying anything.

"I know, sir." He said. "You want her to break up with me."

"That's correct. I'm glad you know that." Jevan said. "I don't want to see you anywhere close to my daughter ever again, do you understand? Erase her from your mind."

"You're free to tell me I can't see her anymore and that's fine but you can't tell me not to think of her." Vikrant informed him. "That's where I draw the line."

Jevan took a deep breath. "Very well." He nodded his agreement. "Then, am I to assume I have the right to ask you to delete her number from your phone... Oh mighty one?" His voice dripped with sarcasm.

"Papa." Sarita chided.

"Sure." Vikrant took out his phone, went through his contacts and found her number then deleted it. "
